Initially I sign up this holiday program to help me keep my son busy during this holiday. Honestly I didn’t have high hopes as my son is always easily distracted and because he is bad in the language, he has no interest and no confidence in it. First 2 lessons it’s the usual him, shy, reserved, no confidence in answering and always one word reply. The teacher did not give up on him just because of that. Instead, the teacher makes sure he has a chance to talk and answer his questions. Class size is good so every kid have their turn to say. After each session, there’s also feedback from teacher which is great! With the constant encouragement, I see a difference in my son on the 4th lesson onwards. He is very engaged during the lesson and he is now actively participating in the question answer.
Thanks to Audrey recommendation, I enrolled my girl for the holiday programme just because she lacks confidence in mandarin speaking. After attending the 3rd lesson, I noticed my girl will raise her hand to speak up. She looks forward to attend zoom class every morning and will always be the 1st to enter class. We do not speak mandarin at home so it is quite a boost on her confidence level. The teacher is very engaging and the 🏆serves as a good motivation for my girl. 👍👍👍
